В Параде Победы на центральной площади Самары приняли участие около 2 тыс. человек и 42 единицы военной техники.
По площади Куйбышева прошли подразделения мотострелковых войск Центрального военного округа, юнармейцы, кадеты, представители ФСИН, МЧС, МВД и ветераны региона.
Впервые в параде приняли участие боевые машины пехоты БМП-3 и бронеавтомобили «Чекан». Так же в состав механизированной колонны вошли пикапы УАЗ «Патриот» с крупнокалиберными пулеметами «Корд», бронетранспортеры БТР-82АМ, оперативно тактические ракетные комплексы ОТРК «Искандер-М» и другие.
Командовал парадом кавалер ордена Мужества полковник Тлек Рахимов. Принимал парад, исполняющий обязанности командующего общевойсковой армией Центрального военного округа полковник Александр Липатов.
